A trauma informed Conscious Connected Breathwork journey in the rooftop garden, guided by Raissa and deepened by LUMAFLEX Red Light Therapy. Circular connected breath opens the body, stored tension releases, and the nervous system finds its way back to baseline.
n the rooftop garden, we gather for an evening of breath and deep release. The session centers on trauma informed Conscious Connected Breathwork, a practice of circular connected breath. The inhale flows through an open mouth directly into an open mouth release, with no pause between breaths. This circular, continuous rhythm bypasses the thinking mind, allowing stored emotions and tension to surface and release. It is one of the most powerful tools for emotional healing, stress relief, and self discovery. The breath does the work. All you need to do is follow it. Your journey is guided by Raissa, certified sound healer and trauma informed breathwork facilitator, and founder of The Garden. Every session is held with care, consent, and deep respect for your body's pace, creating a space where the nervous system feels safe enough to release. As the active phase of the journey completes, we settle into a period of deep rest and integration. Wrapped in blankets and held in stillness, the nervous system shifts from activation into restoration. Heart rate slows, the breath softens on its own, and the body absorbs everything the journey has opened. Throughout the session, LUMAFLEX Red Light Therapy is provided to deepen the experience. Red and near infrared light supports cellular renewal, eases tension in the body, and amplifies the restorative state the breath creates. Practices that bring you back to baseline. You will leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply restored. *What to expect in session*: Tingling, buzzing, pins and needles, or an itching sensation in the hands, arms, face, or feet is normal and quickly reversed. Waves of emotion may move through you, including tears, laughter, or deep relief. Some experience temporary muscle tension or involuntary cramping of the hands, commonly known as lobster hands and clinically known as tetany. Others meet vivid imagery, colors, or a deep meditative stillness. Every journey is unique, and you are held throughout. *What to expect after the session*: Deep relaxation, emotional lightness, mental alertness, and a natural boost of energy. To allow full integration, drink plenty of water, move gently, walk in nature, journal, make art, meditate, spend time alone, and rest.
