Breathe through the 8.8 portal in this trauma-informed session to clear space for what you are calling in. Where ancient practice meets nervous system science, you will leave lighter, clearer, and deeply restored.
On 8.8, the Lion's Gate portal opens. For a few days each year, the star Sirius rises and aligns with our sun and Earth. The ancients marked this moment as a gateway of activation, abundance, and new beginnings. The number 8 represents infinity, the endless flow of what wants to come to you. This Saturday, August 8th, we gather at The Garden to meet this portal through a trauma-informed Conscious Connected Breathwork session. A circular, connected breath pattern moves stored emotion and energy, regulating your nervous system and returning you to your baseline state of clarity and openness. It is in this state that we plant the seeds of manifestation: before you can call something in, you have to clear the space it will live. In this session, we breathe together to release and unwind, then settle into stillness to let your intentions land in the body, not only the mind. You leave feeling lighter, clearer, and aligned with what you are ready to receive. This is a trauma-informed breathwork session, held with care and presence from beginning to end. All bodies and all experiences are welcome.
This session welcomes everyone, from first-time breathers to experienced practitioners. It is especially supportive for anyone carrying stress, tension, or emotion in the body, moving through transition, or seeking a deeper connection with themselves. Please note that Conscious Connected Breathwork is an active practice and is contraindicated for the following conditions: angina, prior heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, recent surgery, any condition requiring heavy doses of medication, history of panic attacks, psychosis, or psychological disturbances, severe mental illness including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, seizure disorders, pregnancy, and family history of aneurysms. If any of these apply to you, please reach out before booking and we will guide you toward the most supportive practice for your body, such as a sound bath or yoga nidra.
A bottle of water to stay hydrated. A journal and pen, if writing after the session is part of your practice, or anything else you may need. Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, eye masks, water, and a LUMAFLEX Red Light Therapy device are provided.
