Raissa Mendes is originally from Brazil and has lived, worked, and studied across the US, China, Argentina, and Colombia, building a career at the intersection of global markets, technology, and media. Educated at The George Washington University, with a master's from Hult International Business School, she spent over a decade in senior roles at DJI and KamiVision, navigating high-performance corporate life from her home in Shenzhen. That journey led her inward.
Today, as a certified sound therapist and holistic practitioner, Raissa works with crystal singing bowls, the gong, breathwork, yoga nidra, cacao, and LUMAFLEX red light therapy — weaving ancient practice with modern wellness science in a living rooftop garden she planted and tends herself.
She is a trauma informed breathwork facilitator, trained through Breath of Gold, an internationally recognized breathwork certification program. Her sound healing practice combines Himalayan singing bowls, crystal alchemy bowls, planetary gongs, and tuning forks. She holds Usui and Magdalene Reiki certifications, and facilitates cacao ceremonies, women's circles, and blessing ceremonies rooted in the sacred feminine tradition.
Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, Raissa brings both worlds into every room: the credibility of someone who has lived the corporate experience, and the skill of a practitioner devoted to helping people recover from it.
