Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) and sound healing under the new moon. Guided yogic sleep for genuine restoration, deepened by LUMAFLEX Red Light Therapy.
The New Moon is the quietest point of the lunar cycle, a dark, still threshold where one chapter closes and another quietly begins. It is the perfect moment for the deepest rest practice we offer. This session centers on Yoga Nidra, the ancient practice of yogic sleep, known today in nervous system science as Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR). Lying completely supported, you are guided through the body, the breath, and layers of awareness into the liminal state between waking and sleep. The body rests as deeply as it does in sleep while awareness remains softly present. Brainwaves slow, the nervous system shifts out of doing and into being, and restoration happens at a level that ordinary rest rarely reaches. In the dark of the moon, we plant a sankalpa, a quiet intention seeded in the most receptive state of mind. What is planted in stillness grows with the moon. Woven throughout is a crystal bowl sound bath, resonance carrying you deeper with every wave. And quietly supporting it all is LUMAFLEX Red Light Therapy, delivering red and near infrared light deep into muscles, joints, and tissues, reducing inflammation, boosting circulation, and awakening cellular energy while you rest. Where ancient practice meets nervous system science. You will leave feeling rested from a depth that surprises you, clear, restored, and ready to begin again.
This session welcomes everyone, from first time participants to seasoned practitioners. It is especially supportive for anyone feeling depleted, sleeping poorly, carrying stress in the body, or standing at the beginning of something new. There is no movement and no experience needed. All you need to do is lie down, listen, and let yourself be guided.
A bottle of water to be infused by the sounds and vibrations of the session. A journal and pen, if writing your intention is part of your practice. Wear comfortable, warm layers, as the body cools in deep rest. Mats, blankets, bolsters, and eye masks are provided.
